Last year, I had the privilege of leading a group of over 200 committed Caledon residents to stop the destruction of Swan Lake. After months of determined advocacy by our group and help from MPP Ted Hsu, Caledon council unanimously rejected the infill proposal.

Swan Lake is safe for now.

This controversy may have just been the beginning. Rural Caledon is facing UNPRECEDENTED PRESSURE ON ITS WATER resources. A proposed mega blasting quarry in the heart of Ward 1, provincial below-water-table infill and potential commercial fill operations all RISK OUR DRINKING WATER and would mean MORE TRUCKS on our already dangerous roads.

Caledon is at a critical crossroads. We need strong, informed voices to advocate for the safety of our communities. Clean and available water is a human right. Wells must not run dry. Contaminated water is unacceptable. Safe roads are essential.

I am ready to serve Ward 1 as your local councillor, to advocate for the safety and well being of all who live here and most importantly to ALWAYS REPRESENT THE PEOPLE.
